Bendable Maine: “Aimed at teaching and learning for job development, personal skill development, and expanding interests. There are several nationally recognized providers, but there are also local Maine experts represented. Locals can register to upload content as well, if they have a field of experience they wish to share.” Follow the link, click on Maine State Library, create an account with an email and password, enter your Maine zip code, and you’re ready to go! Some learning modulars are for a fee, but you’ll find many free options!

Suggest a Title: Think the library is missing a vital title? A new release or classic that we should add to the collection? A tool or DVD? You name it, and we will consider it. No guarantees. Acceptance is based on cost, interest and space.

Interlibrary Loan Request: Books and DVDs six months from publication or older may be requested. We get one delivery weekly, on Thursdays. It can take two weeks to get a title in (sometimes longer for in-demand books). The lending period is approximately two weeks. This is a great tool for reading through an author’s entire collection, or obscure titles we are less likely to have on our shelves. Books are sourced from other libraries within the State of Maine.

Search MaineInfoNet: Used to access online catalogs of other libraries and lending groups.
